You have not mentioned any entrance exam and subject so i have attached the syllabus for GATE exam which is conducted for M.Tech admission.

GATE is the entrance exam for M.Tech admission.M.Tech admission is done on the basis of GATE score.University also held entrance exam for M.E/M.Tech admission for concern university

GATE Syllabus
Here , You have not specified about branch of engineering.For each branch of engineering , Syllabus is different.You can download the syllabus of any branch from website : www.gate.iitk.ac.in

Application Procedure
- Visit the gate official site : www.gate.iitk.ac.in
- Go for "New Registration User"
- Register for GATE & get your enrolment ID and password
- Pay the Application Fees
- Fill the Online application form
- Upload your Photograph , Signature & Other Supporting Documents such as Graduation Certificate/Principal Certificate , Caste Certificate etc.
- Submit the Application

Application Fees
- For General/OBC Male : Rs.1500/-
- For Women Candidates : Rs.750/-
- For SC/ST : Rs.750/-

Paper Pattern GATE
- Total 65 Questions carrying 100 Marks.
- Total 55 Questions asked from Main subject & Other 10 Questions asked from General Aptitude.


Important Dates GATE 2016
- Starting Date of Application : 01/09/2015
- Last Date of Application : 01/10/2015
- Online GATE Exam : 30 & 31 January , 2016 and 6 & 7 Febuary , 2016

Syllabus for entrance exam will same as what you have read in B.Tech. Make your concepts more clear with all those topics which you have read in B.Tech. Many good books are available in market from where you can prepare yourself for M.Tech.

GATE Exam is conducted for M.Tech course , The candidates after B.Tech can appear Gate Entrance Exam which is conducted for Master's Degree .

The Exam Syllabus :

Electrical Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Computer Science

The Eligibility criteria for GATE exam :

The candidates should be Bachelor's degree holders in Engineering/ Technology (4 years after 10+2 or 3 years after Diploma in Engineering/Technology) and those who are in the final year of such programs.
