Syllabus for MIT Manipal entrance exam for admission to M.Tech. in CSE
Hello sir/madam,....
I want to know the portion for 2011 entrance exam for Mtech in computer science and engg in MIT,Manipal. So please inform me as soon as possible so that i can start the preparation. And also i've heard that this time there might be a separate entrance exam for individual branch.So please do reply...

COMPUTER SCIENCE & ENGINEERING: BE/BTech or AMIE or equivalent in Computer Science or Electronics & Communication or Electrical & Electronics or Electronics & Telecommunication or Telecommunication Engineering or Instrumentation Engineering or Information Technology.
SYLLABUS FOR MTech  COMPUTER SCIENCE & ENGINEERING, DIGITAL ELECTRONICS & ADVANCED COMMUNICATION, MICROELECTRONICS  There will be 20 questions from each of the following 06 subjects: MATHEMATICS  Matrices: Rank, eigen vectors, eigen values of a matrix. Differential Equations: Solutions of ordinary first order & higher order differential equations, classifications of partial differential equations. Complex Variables: Analytic functions, CR equations, harmonic functions, Line integral of complex functions. Laplace Transforms: Laplace transforms and inverse laplace transforms, shift theorems, unit step function, Laplace transform of derivatives. Numerical Analysis: Finite differences, interpolation, numerical integration. Probability: Sample space, events, axioms of probability, theorems on probability, conditional probability, independent events, mutually exclusive events. ELECTRIC CIRCUITS  Nodal and mesh analysis, transient response of DC and AC networks, sinusoidal steady state analysis of single and three phase circuits, coupled circuits, resonance in electric circuits, network theorems, twoport networks, Fourier series, state space representation of networks. Simple diode circuits, BJT and FET Amplifiers  analysis, equivalent circuit and frequency response, oscillators, simple opamp circuits. ELECTRONICS AND INSTRUMENTATION  Amplifiers: RC coupled, DC amplifiers, feedback amplifiers, power amplifiers, oscillators. Multivibrators: both discrete and opamp based. Waveform generators, wave shaping circuits, integrators, differentiators, operational amplifiers. Transducers, bioelectrodes, instrumentation amplifiers, carrier type amplifiers, A/D and D/A converters. COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS AND DIGITAL SYSTEMS  Probability, random variables and random processes. Modulation techniques: Analogue modulation  AM, FM, PM; Digital modulation  PSK, FSK, PCM, DM, ADM; Information theory, coding  block codes, convolution codes, noise and SNR calculation, antenna basics, basics of EM waves, Logic design: Number systems, combinational and sequential circuits, basics of microprocessor and memories. sir actually in mit entrance test for m.tech computer science and engg. we have to study electronic subject also like COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS AND DIGITAL SYSTEMS,electic circuit and elronics and instrumentation so i 've been very puzzled so give me only computer science subject pllllllllllllllllllzzzzzzzzzzzz sirrrrrrrrr........

sir/madam please give me the syllabus to study for entrance exam of applied instrumentation and electronics (m.tech) in jadavpur university.as i have not qualified for gate so is there any possibility for me to take admission in jadavpur university for m.tech in above field
