Respected sir/Madam,
I m doing mtech in cse and want to know the procedure for phd cse in abroad,plz give me the detail procedure from scratch, also plz provide me the syllabus if any entrance examination is there.

For getting admission in Ph.D abroad after M.Tech is CSE you need to qualify following tests with a very good score. A good score in these tests will help you to get admission in a reputed University abroad.

1. GRE

2. IELTS/TOEFL (For English Proficiency)

Therefore, be prepared for above tests because most of the top Universities will ask for these scores when you apply for admission in a Ph.D program.

If you want to do Ph.D in Abroad, first you have to complete two exams called GRE and IELTS. Because most of the universities will offer admissions by considering your scores in these exams. After completing these exams, You can apply for admissions in foreign universities by sending your Application form along with your exam scores. Then the universities will offer you an admission, If your academic profile satisfies their university admission requirements.

GRE Exam Pattern:-
The GRE exam will have three sections
Section I:-
1) Verbal Reasoning
i) Reading Comprehension
ii) Text Completion
iii) Sentence Equivalence

Section II:-
1) Quantitative Reasoning

Section III:-
1) Analytical Writing Assessment
i) Issue-Task essay
ii )Argument-Task essays

IELTS Exam Pattern:-
This exam consists of following sections
1)Listening - 30 minutes(4 sections, 40 items)
2)Reading - 60 minutes (3 sections, 40 items)
3)Writing - 60 minutes(2 tasks)
4)Speaking - 11-14 minutes
IELTS exam score will be calculated in 10 bands.
