The syllabus of entrance exam conducted for recruitment of Sub-Inspector in West Bengal Police is as follows:

Preliminary Exam- Objective type questions

• General Studies- 150 marks
• Arithmetic- 50 marks

Main Exam- Conventional type questions

• Paper I- Genaral Studies & Arithmetic- 100 marks
• Paper-II- English-50 marks
• Paper III- Regional Language -Bengali/Hindi/Urdu/Nepali- 50 marks
