Sir, The condition is like this that i passed matriculation with 54% of marks and 12th with 48% marks, in BCA i got 68% marks, then what could i attend the TCS interview?

tcs look to the 10th & 12th marks it has 60%eligibility criteria,since you have good marks in BCA so do not bother.

dear frnd actually the criteria for tcs is u must get 60% allover.so u r not eligible 4 TCS.so plz dnt get dishearted u cn try 4 al other software compinies.

i am presently working in TCS for the last 7 months,i have attended TCS campus recruitment in the year 2008 that was in the 3rd year of my college.at that time TCS had the criteria of 60% throughout in 10,12 and degree.Even today TCS keeps the same criteria.so i dont think you would be eligible.but of course u can try for other companies.

or suppose u may have a dream of working in TCS u can do that even
what u do is join in any company work for 2+ years nd then u directly get into TCS .......
dnt look at the company name there is nthg different in the work u do at TCS r some other

Hi, Iam currently working in TCS. The basic criteria to attend TCS interview is you should have 60% of marks in your 10th and 12th standard. One idea what I can suggest you is try doing some good computer proficiency certifications like IBM certifications for mainframe or SUN certification for Java or some CCNA certifications and you can try getting into some small IT companies and gain atleast 1 year experience and then you can get into TCS easily or else try doing MCA in some good colleges and you need to be one among the topper which can help you to get into TCS easily. TCS take freshers only through campus that is the reason I told you to do certifications and also to gain minimum of 1 year experience. All the best.

as u have mentioned that u have got 54% in 10th, 48% in12th and 64% in graduation so u r not eligible for TCS..

to eligible for tcs recruiment drive eligiblity criteria is as follows:
10th & 12th : minimum 60%
BCA/MCA/ME/BE: agg. 60+
and no backlog in gradution period
then and then only you are eligible for TCS DRIVE.

as you have scored very poor marks in your 10th and 12th so you are not eligible for TCS interview.but yiu can join TCS if you copleted your MCA.

apart from TCS there are many software companies for which you can try.

so try for that .one day of course you will be selected TCS.

Actually most of the companies including TCS consider 60% in your graduation. However they havent mentioned anything about the 12th and 10 percentage but most probably it wont be so less.

So i doubt whether you will be eligible. But do conform

As your graduation is complete so there are the chances to be eligible in other.
Just try out for others as Infosys , CSC , Accenture.

because they do not allow for such a low grade.
But you can try out in other companies like Infosys , Wipro , HCL , etc.

because most of the time TCS set the criteria as 60% through out ur academic carrear
but some where in any of campus if u see they hav not set any such criteria then only u can try .

60% in B.Tech means? 6.0 CGPA?

MNCs like TCS look for candidates who have scored 60% in 10th, 12th and graduation/PG.You can do diploma or certification courses after graduation/pg, in IT and gain work experience .After 2 years of experience you can apply in TCS.

You must have to score 60% in aggregate in 10th,12th and in your graduation.......

And this is the only eligibility criteria for the for appearing in the TCS exam,All the best.....

sorry to say you are not eligiable for TCS interview .

as for TCS interview minimum, 60% marks throughout of career is essentially require.

so it will be better to try for the other companies.

TCS is one of the Best companies in S/W industry,so for its interview u should have proper knowledge inur subjects.
they generally ask very simple questions from 10th,12th
so u have to know these.
their need generally: 1>65% in 10th
2>65%in 12th
3>65% in CGPA
if u r not eligible in this criteria,u can join any small company,then after 2yr-3yr experience u can join TCS.

sir i have got 62.2.% in 10th ,67.8% in 12th,and 65.44% in graduation but i have an year gap in between 10th and 12th so am i eligible for tcs

means the marks in the 10th ,12th must should be 60% .
then you can sit for the job interview.

does tcs allow students having gap in between 10th and 12th but have 60% in all 10th, 12th and graduation.

sir i have 59.6% in 10th, 55.6% in 12th , 57.8% in BCA and with 66% running MCA which company is better for me

dear friend,
you didn't mention in which university you are, so it is little bit difficult to say about conversion of CGPA to percentage.

If you are a student of WBUT, then for 60% marks you will have to secure the aggregate CGPA is 6.75

As per the norm of WBUT of the conversion of CGPA to percentage, you have to deduct .75 from your CGPA then multiply with 100, then you will get your percentage.

& for TCS you have to get aggregate 6.75 in CGPA.

for TCS, you have to secure aggregate 60% marks through out, means if you got 60% marks in 10th, 12th, graduation discipline.
If you didn't get 60% marks in BCA, then you can't eligible for TCS.

You should try for other companies like WIPRO,Synergy,Assergent etc.

As you didn't get 60% marks in 12th then you are not eligible for TCS.

So, you should try for other companies, which doesn't put any criteria of marks but recruits the candidate as per their talent.

WIPRO
Synergy
Assergent
organic solution etc

sir,i have got 70.6% marks in 10th and 58.6% in 12th and 75% in my B.Tech . Can I hav a chance to work in TCS

sorry sir,TCS always look for candidates with an acadamic background of 60% for 10th onwards.dont worry.you will be able to get into some other company as you have a nice percentage for degree.

I dont know for which type of job are you asking that weather you are eligible or not? Since you are not an engineer then it would not be an engineering job for which they clearly states that BTech and 12th/10th with more than 60% marks in their criteria.
I think you are talking about job for science graduate then they also want more than 50% in your academic career. If you are not satisfied with this then you can apply at this link:

Obviously they do tell you through email about your eligiblity. Actually this link consist of form, which generates a 'DT number'. Do note that. They will correspond you in future in case of any vacancy.

because eligibility criteria

1. 60% in 10th.
2.60% in 12th.
3.60% in graduate

so you can not take part for job interview in TCS company.

to get job offer.

you can join TCS if you have at least 5yr experience .

TCS criterion is you have to get minimum 60% throughout the carrier to serve in their company. so you have to get above 60% marks in 10, 10+2 and also in graduation. as your marks is not fulfill the criterion so you will not be able to get job in TCS. but don't worry for this. there are so many company which recruit below 60% student. you may apply for job in those company. best of luck. surely you will get a job in a reputed company.
