Sir, i am retiring in Jan 2017 from indian navy after completion of 15 years and i have done MA and i want to go for teaching line. Requesting you to please guide me. I want to know that how many seats will be be reserved for ex-servicemen in governemnt sector if there is any?

Ex-servicemen are always respected in every field you go and also 2-4% of seats are reserved(vary from govt. organisation to organisation) for them.
So, there is very bright chance for you to take up the education sector as a choice for your second innings.

Also since you have completed MA, you an apply in private schools and organisations for teachings options. You can also apply for the government organisations for the primary classes as well as for the high school classes.

Since you are MA, you can also pursue PHD in your desired field and then apply for the post of professors in various colleges(both private and government).

Regarding the number of vacancies, it vary from year to year, like some months back, nearly 700-800 teaching vacancies came in Haryana state. So, it depends on the number of vacancies created every year. those can not be accurately predicted but it definitely range from 500-1000 every year in different states.

Yes there are reservation for ex-servicemen in almost all government sectors. The exact number of seats cannot be predicted since it varies from organization to organization. For the ex-servicemen almost 2-3% of the total seats are reserved in all government examination that are held.

For ex-servicemen age relaxation is also provided. The age is relaxed by the actual period of service rendered in the defense force in addition to 3 years which is subjected to a age limitation of maximum 50 years.

Since you have a MA degree you can apply for private schools also as a teacher or you can apply for NET examination. Through NET you can become a lecturer in a government/private college. The NET examination is conducted by UGC.
The eligibility criteria for NET Lectureship are

There is no age limitation

The candidates should have a post graduation degree in a recognized discipline from an UGC affiliated university.
The candidates should have scored a minimum of 55% marks in post graduation level.

You can also apply for PhD. After PhD you can take the post of assistant professor in college or university.

Sir, 1. I have put up 22 years of service in indian air force and intend to serve as a teacher as my second inning post retirement.

2. I have done b.a., mba(hr), b.ed, yoga instr course & ctet (paper i & ii) qualified.

3. Please, apprise me whether there is any provision exist for age relaxation as well as selection quota for ex-servicemen in teaching fields.

Sir, I am retired from Army, I want to become primary teacher . Earlier without DEd and TEt selection were done as a teacher and after that they complete there DEd. But now asking D Ed and TET prior to selection. Its not possible to complete D Ed during service by all Army pers. What is the option, any authority as relaxation to ESM in D Ed. we can complete D Ed after selection as earlier happened.

ESM ko ab DEd aur TET mang rahe hai primary teacher ke liye, pehle aisa nahi tha . selection ke bad avsar diya jata tha DEd ke liye. ESM ke education relaxation ke liye koi authority ho to bataiye plz. taki teacher ke liye select hone ke bad DEd kar sake pehle ki tarah
