In the Intelligence Bureau exam there is no such age relaxation for Central Govt Employee

For all the exams conducted under Intelligence bureau the age relaxation is there only for SC/ST/OBC candidates

for SC/ST after the upper limit of every exam there is an age relaxation of 5 years

For OBC candidates age relaxation is 3 years

The Central Bureau Investigation(CBI),the base of administrative branch of India, provides the information relating to corruption in Central Government departments and Central Public Sector Undertakings which is directly or indirectly devoted for the Investigation, Anti Corruption, Economic Offences, Special Crimes.

Eligibility for appearing CBI exam :-
1) Age :-
Your's age must lie between :-
(a) 20 to 27 years for Assistant Grade & SIs in CBI
(b) 18 to 27 years for inspectors of CE/IT & Div. Acctts/Auditors/UDCs, etc.,
(c) 20 to 25 years for SIs in CPOs on the first day of the August of the year of Examination.
The upper age limit may be relaxed in respect of
SC,ST,OBC.

2) Educational Qualification :-
You should have a degree of a recognized University or equivalent.

Yes,there is age relaxation facility for central government employees in Intelligence Bureau exam.In Intelligence Bureau age required is :

• Candidates minimum age should be 18 years.
• Candidates age should not be above 28 years.

Age Relaxation details :

1. For Candidates of OBC category - 03 years.
2. For Candidates of SC/ST category - 05 years.
3. For Physically Handicapped Candidates - 06 years.
4. For Ex-Servicemen - 05 years.

In Intelligence Bureau exam there are 39% seats which are reserved for Reserved category candidates as per India Government rules.These are as follows :

1. Scheduled Castes - 15%.
2. Schedules Castes - 23%.
3. Physically Handicapped - 03%.
4. Ex-Servicemen - 03%.

Further details based on the given above information for Intelligence Bureau Exam :


A)For Physically Handicapped :

• Women - 1%.
• Men - 2%.

B)Sports Person :

• Women - 0.33%.
• Men - 0.67%.

C)Ex-Servicemen :

• Men - 03%.

D)General Candidates :

• Men - 36.67%.

Qualification required to apply for Intelligence Bureau exam :

Yes. Central Government employees who have completed 03 years of regular service as on date will claim age relaxation for 40 years for all categories.

govt should give age relaxation for central govt emlpoyee. there is age relaxation for sc/st/obc but general candidate have a chance to join IB in case he in Central Govt. i request to govt there should be a chance of age relaxation for central govt employee so that general candidate could fill IB form and could join IB. please sir/ma'am
