what is the age limit for appearing entrance test in jnu for Mtech biotech . Is there any age relaxation for sc and st candidates ?

The admission to M.Tech programme is based on an All India Examination , conducted by the University at different centres spread all over the country, followed by an extensive interview. On an average 25 students for M.Tech. are selected every year.

--Eligibility for JNU MCA Admission 2011 : Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with adequate competence in

Mathematics under 10+2+3 pattern of education with at least 55% marks.

--Entrance Syllabus in JNU 2011 : 10+2/Graduate level Maths, Graduate level Computer Science and General Aptitude.

--The Entrance Examination fee for candidates who are belonging to general category including OBC is Rs. 220/- for

field of study, Rs. 430/- for 2 fields of study and Rs. 600/- for 3 fields of study. Similarly candidates belonging

to SC/ST and Physically Challenged (Handicapped) categories are required to pay examination fee at the rate of Rs.

110/- for 1 field of study, Rs. 215/- for 2 fields of study and Rs. 300/- for 3 fields of study.
