Re: Is there any age relaxation in IPS for government employee?
I am giving you the age relaxation for IPS Exam for Central Government Employee as per UPSC norms.
Normal age criteria is 21-32 years. Relaxation for Central Government Employees is 5 years. The same Central Government Employees get relaxation upto 8 years if they are OBC and upto 10 years if they are SC or ST candidate. It is must that the Government Employee should show evidence that he is a central Government Employee and on permanent basis and this certificate should be issued after release of IPS notification. |

There is age relaxation in IPS for Government Employees.
Age relaxation is 10 years for SC and ST Tribes. 8 Years for OBC students and 5 years for OC students. Actual age is 21-32 years. Hence it should be 37 years for General category 40 years for OBC 42 years for SC and ST for Central Government Employees. |
