Being a government employee can I avail age relaxation for IBPS PO exam?
Sir, I am currently working in AP Police department as constable and I belong to OBC category.My d.o.b. is 02/01/81. I would like to apply for IBPS PO exam. Can I avail age relaxation? Am I eligible to apply? Sir, please guide me how to apply.

IBPS stands for Institute for Banking Personal Selection.
Of course, a government employee even enjoy the age relaxation in upper age in government job even in IBPS Examination. You can even avail the benefit of age relaxation in upper age in IBPS Examination. Age relaxation in upper age in government jobs are equally applicable to both unemployed candidates as well as employed candidates in government sector. Required educational qualification for IBPS Examination: * Graduation in any discipline from recognised university. * Candidate in final year of graduation are also eligible. * No any fixed percentage marks are not required. Only pass marks required. Required Age Limit for IBPS Examination: * 18-30 years for General category * 18-33 years for OBC category * 18-35 years for SC/ST category * 18-40 years for Persons with Disability Recommended books for IBPS Examination are: * Reasoning Ability by R.S. IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) conducts IBPS PO exam every year.. **The minimum eligibility for PO exam is the student must possess a graduation degree while filling the application form.. **Age Limit: 20-30 years.. Age Relaxation: --SC->5 years --ST->5 years --OBC->3 years **Since you belong to OBC category so you will eligible for 3 years of age relaxation..There wouldn't be any relaxation of government working employee..
