I am central govt servant (in crpf ) please inform about how much age relaxation i have got if i am appearing for IAS/IPS examination

Regarding sm as abt IAS/case exam no relaxation in age save x-servicemen, n anyone with a degree can apply

I had completed B.COM degree in Bangalore university and i secured 65.87%, which is the best course after b.com and it should have good scope and job opportunity in future and present

Details About IAS/IPS:

IPS stands for Indian Police Service

IAS - Indian Administrative Service

These two exams are known as Indian Civil Service exams and they are held for candidates to join in for the posts of IAS and IPS officer.These exams are being conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) and this exam is being conducted every year.

There are some criteria's which are needed to be satisfied in order to be eligible for the exam and they may include such as :

• Nationality
• Age Limit
• Education Qualification

# The candidate should be a Citizen of India as per the Nationality standard.

# The Education Qualification Needed for the exam it is that the candidate should have completed a Degree from a recognized university with a fair percentage and it can be in any discipline.

# The age limit needed for the exam must have 21-30 years.

# There are certain upper age relaxation for other category candidates as like you have asked.

# The candidate will get 5 years exception if he is a SC/ST candidate and if you are a OBC candidate you will get 3 years Exception.

# The candidate who is a Ex-service men will get 5 years exception from the prescribed limits.

• Main Exam
• Interview
