Is there any entrance exam even for taking lateral entry in Marine Engineering course?


Is there any entrance exam for lateral entry scheme in Marine Engineering after completing Diploma in Automobile Engineering? Please clarify, whether it is mandatory to sit for the entrance exam even though I'm Diploma qualified?

Yes, there are many entrance exams for taking lateral entry into marine engineering. Few entrance exams are conducted by the state government & few exams by university.

Some of the entrance exams are listed below:

- AIEEE (All India Engineering Entrance Exams)
- Calicut university lateral entry entrance exams
- Delhi technical university lateral entry examination
- Kerala university lateral entry exam
- LEET (Lateral Entry Entrance Test)
- LPU NEAT (National Engineering Aptitutde Test)
- Manipal BE Lateral Entry Entrance exam
- PTU LEET (Punjab Technical University Lateral Entry Entrance Test)
- KIIT university lateral entry entrance examination

Based on your interest you can attend any of the entrance exam and join in marine engineering.
