is there any resevation for sc and st students in nda i want details?

NDA Stands for National Defense Academy. The National Defense Academy Examination is conducted every year by the Union Public Service Commission.

This examination is conducted as a motive to recruit candidates in the following wings of Indian Defense :

* Indian Army

* Indian Navy

* Indian Air Force

The Union Public Service Commission conducts the exam twice every year in the months of April and August.

The UPSC has set some strict eligibility criteria that needs to be fulfilled in any case if you want to appear in the NDA Exam.

These Eligibility Criteria are :

* The candidate must have passed 12th as the minimum academic record from any recognized board.

* The candidate must have the age in between 16.5-19 years.

* There is no relaxation given to candidates in age limitation as the criteria is same for the candidates of all category.

* The candidate must be an Indian Male.

* The candidate must be unmarried too.

* Also the girl candidates are not eligible the NDA Exam.

* The candidate must be physically and mentally strong.

So , from the above mentioned , i just want to tell you that no reservation is given to any candidate whether you belong to SC or ST or OBC Category.

N.D.A. Exams are conducted by UPSC twice a year.

Through NDA, a candidate can apply for the following three wings:

Required Qualifications:

For Indian Army : The candidate must be 12th class passed with any stream from any recognized board.

For Indian Navy and Indian Air Force : The candidate must be 12th class with science subjects from any recognized board.

>>The age of candidate must be from 16.5 to 19 years.

>>The candidate mjst be unmarried male.

The selection procedure consists of three steps:

>>Written Exam
>>SSB Interview
>>Medical Test

10+2 passed with physics and maths for air force abnd navy
any stream for army.

Age limit 16.5 to 19 years,when course will start.
NDA allows study till graduation along with training.
