Third year student can attend GATE exam?
Sir,
I am eligible to attend gate exam when i am in my third year final semester. I have already completed my diploma? |

No you are not eligible to appear in GATE 2016 examination because the minimum qualification required to appear is bachelor degree in engineering/ Bachelor of Technology/ Bachelor of architecture/ Bachelor of Pharmacy/ MCA or equivalent degrees.
Minimum age required is 18 and no upper age limit specified. There is no specified pass percentage for GATE 2016. No restriction in number of attempt. |

GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. If you have Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology or Architecture/Design or its equivalent or masters degree in science department then are eligible for GATE exam. Final year candidates are not eligible for GATE exam. There are no restriction for attempts in GATE exam.You can apply any number of time. There is no age criteria but your minimum age must be above 18 years. |
