Sir/Mam, I am appearing for MPSC and UPSC exams in 2024.Sir will you provide me info about:- 1) How to study for MPSC and UPSC exams? 2)Which questions are expected for the above exams? 3)Which books to be referred for the above exams. Sir, please provide me information regarding above questions

MPSC (Maharashtra Public Service Commission) exam is conducted every year for recruiting the candidates into different posts in Maharashtra civil services.
The eligibility required for UPSC & MPSC is to complete graduation level degree in any stream from any recognized university. The age should be between 21 - 30 years. There is age relaxation for reserved candidates. MPSC exam books are given below: - Indian politics by Lakshmikanth - Advanced history of India by R.C.Majumdar - English grammar by Wrien & Martin - G.K & G.S by R.P Sharma - MPSC previous years solved books by pragati books pvt.ltd UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) exam is conducted every year. Questions in exams like MPSC and UPSC can not be predicted. They are considered to be the toughest examination. You need to have holistic preparation of all subjects from which questions are asked. Social science and science are major portions in these exams.
You have enough time of seven years to command over different subject. Start with NCERT books of social science subjects like History, Polity, Economics, Geography. After completion of NCERT books, switch to standard books like: History by Bipan Chandra. Geography by G.C Leong. Polity by Laxmikant. Economics by Ramesh Singh. Read any Newspaper like The Hindu or The Indian Express for current affairs or latest happenings all around the world. |

Follow these steps:
Find out everything about the exam. Choose your bachelor's degree in such a manner that you may benefit for the IAS exam and if you need a fallback options by doing BTech then don't worry you can still start preparing and getting to know the social subject you wish to take for IAS preparation. Follow the news regularly. Give your opinion and discuss the news daily. Start giving IQ tests and getting to know about logical reasoning. Subscribe to a magazine and read articles with understanding. Take up online test series for regular practice. |

This is the preparation tips for UPSC or MPSC examination:
Set a schedule as per your liking and stick to it. Find people who are in your situation or in your organisation and socialize with them to utilise that time for discussion and you will does have time to chill with friends who are serious about this exam. Look for notes and study materials that are short and effective. Listen to the short news and do not waste time in listening to unnecessary discussion 20 news unless the topic demands it. Use memory techniques that speed up your learning. Frequently practice giving tests and writing answers because that will work as revision and practice. |
