I have cored 51 percentage in graduation in Engineering. Can I get admission in B.Ed in Banaras Hindu University after qualifying the BHU entrance exam?

BHU conducts UET entrance test for admission in B.Ed course. The required qualification to appear for entrance examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree or master degree with 50% and B.Tech or B.E with 55% from a recognised university.

So, you are not eligible to appear for examination to get admission in the course.

First thing I would like to let you know that for pursuing B.Ed (Bachelor of Education ) degree course from BHU ( Banaras Hindu University ) you need to qualify BHU UET ( Undergraduate Entrance Test ).

The minimum education required for pursuing B.Ed from BHU is a bachelor‟s Degree and/or Master‟s Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/ Humanities/Commerce with at least 50% marks . Students holding bachelor‟s degree in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other equivalent
qualification are also eligible.

So, having completed your graduation in engineering with 51% marks you are not eligible for pursuing B.Ed from BHU as B.E./B.Tech holder are required to have 55% marks at their graduation level.

BHU ( Banaras Hindu University ) is among India's best university. To offer admission in the B.Ed course you have to appear and qualify for UET entrance test.

The eligibility to appear for examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree with minimum 50% ( if B.Tech or B.E must have 55% ).

Since you have completed B.Tech degree and have scored only 51% so you are not eligible to appear for the examination.

You do not have the sufficient qualification to appear in UET entrance examination conducted for admission in B.Ed course in Banaras Hindu University.

The minimum required aggregate in bachelor degree for candidates who have passed bachelor in engineering is 55%.

So, you are not eligible to appear for entrance examination to get admission in B.Ed course in the university.

Banaras Hindu University conducts entrance test for admission in B.Ed ( 2 year ) duration course.

The eligibility to appear for examination is:

Candidate must have minimum bachelor degree qualification.

Candidate must have scored minimum -

Bachelor or Master - 50%.

B.Tech - 55%.

So, you are not eligible to appear for examination as your score is less than 55%.

B.Ed is two year course. The eligibility for admission in the course is that candidate must have passed graduation from a recognized university.

The required aggregate to appear for examination is 55% for candidates who have passed B.Tech course.

So, you are not eligible to appear for examination conducted by BHU to get admission in the course.

Admission requirements to pursue B.Ed in Banaras Hindu University:

You may not be eligible to get admission into this B.Ed course in Banaras Hindu University. The basic educational qualification required is as follows.

>> Candidates from B.E/ B.Tech background must have secured minimum 55% marks in order to be eligible.

>> As you have secured 51% marks in Graduation in Engineering, you may not be eligible to pursue B.Ed course.

>> Candidates who have scored minimum 50% marks in Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Commerce, Sciences, Humanities, Social Sciences..etc., are eligible to pursue this B.Ed course in Banaras Hindu University.
