IBPS- Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. It conduct the bank exam every year for PO recruitment .

If you have completed graduation degree then you are applicable for IBPS PO Exam.Not require any percentage marks .Your degree must be recognized .

Your age should be in between 21 to 30 years old.

Age relaxation for PO Exam -

For SC/ST Category candidate 5 year
For OBC Category candidate 3 year
For PWD Category candidate 10 yea

Selection process for IBPS Exam is 1)Written Test 2) Personal Interview.

The Probationary Officer (PO) entrance exam by the Institute of Banking Personnel Services is conducted in the month of June of every year. The notification is issued couple of months in advance.

The notification mentions necessary information like the last date to apply for the exam, when will the exam take place and other information like the registration procedure.

There are various websites that publishes the notification for the IBPS Bank PO. Leading newspapers also publishes this information. Apart from that you can also check out the notification on the official website of the IBPS which is www.ibps.in

There are total of 19 Public Sector Banks that participates in the exam. You will have to bring the Score Card, while applying for the job in the bank. Once you have cleared the Bank PO exam, wait for the job notification from the participating bank and then apply for the job.


Eligibility Criteria

1. You must first pursue graduation course.

2. Complete the graduation with any percentage to appear for exam.

3. Your age can not be less than 20 years to apply.

4. If exceeded the age limit of 30 years, you won't be allowed to appear.

5. However the OBC candidate will be allowed to appear till 33 years.

6. The SC/ST candidate may appear till 35 years.

7. PWD should not exceed 40 years of age limit.

IBPS - Institute of Banking Personal Selection conducts P.O.(Probationary Officer) exam for 19 Public sector banks.

Regarding Age criteria for IBPS P.O. Exam:-

General Category Candidate - 20 to 30 years

OBC category - 20 to 33 years

SC/ST category - 20 to 35 years

Physically Handicapped - 20 to 40 years

Apart from this the eligible candidate must be an Indian National having completed Graduation Degree in any stream from a recogised University with good command over computer operation.

IBPS conduct the CWE (Common written exam) every year for po and clerk for 19 public sector of bank.

Candidates age should be between 20 to 30 years. Relaxation for SC/ST/Ex-service man age should be between 20 to 35 year, OBC candidate age should minimum 20 year and maximum 33 year and PD candidate age should be between 20 to 40 year in upper age.

The acronym for IBPS is Institute of Banking Personnel Selection.

The acronym for PO is Probationary Officer.

The eligibility criteria required for the IBPS PO examination are prescribed as below:-

* Completion of graduation in any discipline from any recognized college or university.

* Final year contenders are not eligible.

* Percentage criteria is not required.

* Age limit:- 20-30 yrs.

* Age relaxation:- 3 yrs for OBC and 5 yrs for SC/ST contenders.

* Good knowledge of Computer and English.

* Nationality:- Indian.

Eligibilty to apply for the IBPS PO exams is:

Education:Graduation Pass in any stream

Age :
Minimum 20 years
Maximum 30 years
OBC candidates can apply till 33 years
SC/ST candidates can apply till 35 years
OBC gets 3 years and SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxations

*IBPS conducts Common Written Examination (CWE) from the year 2011 for the recruitment of Probationary Officers/Management Trainees posts.

*CWE examination is conducted twice a year.

Eligibility Criteria:

Nationality: A Citizen of India.

Age limit: The minimum age limit is 20 years and maximum 30 years of age to general category candidates

Relaxation of Upper age limit:

* SC/ST - 5 years.
*Other Backward classes - 3 Years.
*Disabled Persons - 10 Years.
*Ex-Service Man - 5Years.
