Sir,what's the age limit to join iim's? could u please tell me what is the limit

There is no age criteria at all in order to pursue MBA course from IIMs. The only way to pursue MBA course from IIMs is by cracking CAT (Common Aptitude Test) Exam.

In order to be eligible for this exam, one should have completed Graduation with a minimum of 50% of marks.

There is a relaxation in the percentage of marks upto 5% for the candidates of SC/ST category.

So, you need to excel in CAT Exam in the sense you need to secure high percentile in CAT Exam.

Thereafter you have to give good performance in the group discussion and personal interview too to get admission for MBA course in IIMs.

So, have strong preparation for the CAT Exam and crack the exam. For this academic year, the last date to register for CAT Exam was already over. So, this year you can not appear for CAT Exam.

If you are really interested to pursue MBA in IIMs, then have good preparation for CAT Exam for this one year
-by joining in good coaching institute
-by having practice of various mock tests and model question papers
-by spending most of the time in a day to study CAT syllabus.

Age Limit For IIMs

For admissions to Indian Institute of Managements a candidate needs to clear the CAT(Common Admission Test) which is conducted every year once and has now been made online..

To appear in the CAT exam a candidate must have 50% aggregate in his/her graduation

For getting admissions to any of the IIM, you need to score a minimum of 95 percentile..

There is no age limit for appearing in CAT neither there is any restriction on the number of attempts one can make to clear the exam..

Hi friend,

There is no such criteria for doing MBA from IIMs.

IIMs are one of the reputed institute of India to pursue MBA. Here, people from different backgroungs take admission and pursue their MBA here.

Some of them have more than 15-20 years of experience.

so,its nothing like age criteia in this exam. I have seen many of age more than 35 years, pursuing MBA at IIM.

so,only thing that is necessary is, you need to crack CAT , in order to get admission, which is taken every year in NOV-DEC.

CAT exam is conducted for admitting the aspirants to the master degree in business administration. The eligibility for appearing in the exam includes
1. The aspirant should have completed bachelor degree from a recognised university. The aspirant should have secured a minimum of 50% in the degree course.
There is no age limit for appearing in the exam.
You need to get good score in the CAT exam .
The selection process involves written aptitude exam followed by group discussion and personnel interview.
The selected aspirant must submit the degree certificate during the interview process. Final year aspirant can submit a copy along with a letter attested by the head of the institution

1. first of all there is no age limit to join IIM and there is no restrictions of attempts.

There is no age limit for Admissions in I.I.M.
For admissions in I.I.M you have to qualify the Common Admissions Test(C.A.T).
C.A.T exam is conducted by Indian Institute of Management, Ahmadabad.

Eligible Criteria:-
Pass graduation with minimum 50% marks.
For ST/SC 45%.

There is no age limit for C.A.T exam.

sir i have heared that most of the iim's avoid student of age more than 25 -26 .is it right?

Does having a higher percentage marks in graduation help me going to the IIMs anyway.
