Required eligibility criteria for CPMT entrance exam are as follows:

Age:

Candidate must be 17 years of age in the year in which he / she want to appear in Combined Pre Medical Test i.e (CPMT).

Educational Qualification:

The candidate must have passed intermediate science (Biology Group) or equivalent examination.

The General category candidate must have secured at least average 50% marks (40% marks for SC/ST/OBC candidate) in aggregate in there Intermediate exam i.e +2 .

There will be no CPMT/AIPMT from next year.

From the year 2013 onward CBSE shall be conducting common entrance exam for
admission in MBBS and BDS course at all the medical and dental colleges of the country.
This common entrance test shall be NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test).
Till date there has been no notification regarding eligibility criteria of NEET.
The exact eligibility criteria shall be known only after the CBSE publishes the
advertisement for the exam.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

(i) Age: The candidate should have already completed 17 years and age limit should be within 25 years .

(ii) Educational Qualifications: The candidate should have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examinations of a University/Board established
by law in India with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects which shall include a practical test with 50% marks in aggregate for general candidates .

40% marks for SC/ST/OBC provided that the candidate has qualified the subject of English in the above examination.

Or B.Sc. Degree with 50% marks(40% marks for SC/ST/OBC) of a University established by law in India with any three subjects out of Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Physiology, Physics, Human Anatomy and Bio-Chemistry;
provided that such a candidate must have passed the Pre-Medical or an equivalent examination of Board/University established by law in India.

[B]UP CPMT stands for Uttar Pradesh Combined Pre Medical Test. The entrance examination is conducted every year for admission into Medical, Dental, Ayurveda, Homeopathy and Unani programs offered by various Institutions across the state at under graduate level.

Eligibility Criteria for UPCPMT 2012:

You should have completed 10+2 with Biology, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry or any other elective subject with English.

You must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board with Biology, Chemistry and Physics with a practical test and English as a compulsory subject.

You must have passed pre-professional/pre-medical examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology after passing 10+2.

You must have passed first year of the three years degree course from a recognized university with Physics, Chemistry and Biology including a practical test and you should have passed 10+2 with English.

You must have passed B.Sc. examination with two of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology).
