my date of birth is 13 july 1982.so now i can appear in the cpmt exam in india.i want to know the upper age limit for exam appearence.

The cpmt entrance exam is an entrance exam conducted by state of Uttar Pradesh. This year cpmt exam 2011 will be held in the Mid week of May.

The upper age limit for CPMT entrance exam is 25 years .

CPMT stands for Central Pre-Medical Test which is conducted by the CSM Medical University in Uttar Pradesh.

Now there are some eligibility conditions for the CPMT exam :

1. The applicant should be an Uttar Pradesh Local. ie. Resident.

2. A candidate must have passed 12th class with 50% or more aggregate. A relaxation of 10% is given to the SC/ST and OBC.

3. 12th appearing students may also sit for the exam.

4. The applicant should be minimum 17 years age at the time of applying, and upper age limit is 25 years.

I am sorry, but you are no more eligible to apply for CPMT.

Is there any relaxation in uper age limit for obc candidates?

some eligibility conditions for the CPMT exam :

Age limit.-

The upper age limit for All India Pre-Medical /Pre-Dental Entrance Examination is 25 years as on
31st December of the year of the entrance examination. Further provided that this upper age limit shall
be relaxed by a period of 5 (five) years for the candidates of Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes/Other
Backward Classes. Candidate must born on or between –
(a) 01.01.83 to 01.01.96 (SC/ST/OBC Category)
(b) 01.01.88 to 01.01.96 (Other Category)

The Acronym "CPMT" Stands for Combined Pre-Medical Test.

The Age limits for CPMT Entrance Exam are :

* Your age should lie in between 17-25 years if you are from General Category.

* There is also a relaxation in upper age of 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC Category and 5 years for SC/SC Category.
