Re: Age limit for women in IAS exam?
For women belonging to the General category, there is no such relaxation criteria for age as such.
However, I am listing the age relaxation criteria. Candidate must be minimum 21 years of age as on 1st August of the year of exam. Upper age limit for General category candidates including women is 30 years. The upper age limit shall be relaxable upto: *3 years for SC/ST candidates *5 years for OBC candidates. *3 years for Defence personnels disabled during service. *10 years for blind, deaf, mute and orthopaedically handicapped. So as you see, there is no relaxations for women belonging to General category as such. Other Eligibility Conditions: Educational Qualifications: A Graduate in any field can apply for the exam. Also, students in the final year of the course which qualifies them as graduates can apply. Maximum Permissible Attempts: General:4 OBC:7 SC/ST:No limit. For details, please visit: www.uosc.gov.in |
