What age in apply job in airforce? explain please.

Aspirants can join air force after 12th or graduation. HSC passed candidates can join air force by qualifying NDA entrance exam. In order to join NDA, age of the applicant must fall between 16 1/2 and 19 years. CDS is the gateway for graduates to join defense. Age of the applicant must be between 19 and 23 years.

Entrance exams for join Air Force:

NDA (National Defence Academy) Exam
CDS (Combined Defence Academy) Exam

NDA Exam:

Student should pass +12th Class of 10+2 system with physics and maths

Age limit:

Age between 16 1/2 to 19 years candidates are eligible.

Unmarried Male Candidate are only eligible.

CDS Exam:

Candidate must have Degree From a recognized University with physics and maths at 10+2 level/B.Tech

Age Limit : Age between 19 to 23 years

Unmarried candidates are only eligible

Indian Air Force can be joined basically in three ways:-

1. NDA - National Defence Academy conducted twice every year by UPSC, the candidate must be a Male unmarried Indian having completed 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with no upper age relaxation for any reserved candidate.

2. CDS - Combined Defence Service conducted twice every year by UPSC, the eligible ccandidate must be an unmarried Indian Male having completed Graduation Degree with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised University within the age of 19 to 23 years with no upper age relaxation for reserved candidate.

3. AFCAT - Air Force Common Admission Test, conducted by IAF, the eligible candidate must be an Indian National having completed Graduation Degree with 60% marks from a recognised University within the age of 19 to 23 for Flying Branch, from 18 to 28 years for Technical Branch and from 20 to 23 years for Ground Duty Branch of AFCAT.

To Join Indian Airforce Just After Passing Class 12th, You need to apply for the UPSC NDA exams:

Educational Qualifications:
Army Wing-12th Pass in any stream
Navy & Airforce Wing- 12th Pass with Subject Physics and Maths as subjects.

AGE-
Minimum age 16.5 years
Maximum age- 19 years

Only Unmarried Male candidates can apply


Selection Procedure involves:
>> Written Test
>> SSB interview


Papers of the written tests are:
Mathematics of 300 marks
General ability of 600 marks

All the candidates must be in the age of 19 - 23 years to apply for AFCAT exam
The candidates must complete degree with atleast 60% marks to get posted in
Ground Duty posts

The candidates must complete B.Tech or B.Sc with atleast 55% or more marks to get posted in
Technical branch
Flying branch

The post graduates upper age limit is 25 years
The candidates done CA, ICWA, Ph.D, M.Ed are given maximum age limit of 27 years
The candidates who have done LLB 3 years courses are given maximum age limit of 26 years

Also the candidates must be healthy and medically fit to get trained in Airforce

There are two way to join the airforce one is through NDA exam and other is through CDS exam. Both have its own age limit criteria.

FOR NDA EXAM:

Candidate age should be b/w 16 to 19 years.

only Unmarried candidate are Eligible.

FOR CDS EXAM:

Candidate age should be b/w 19 to 23 yeras .

only Unmarried candidate are eligible.

after 12th air force can be joined by cracking nda ,

for nda age limit is 16.5 to 19 years
no relaxation

and after graduation you can join through cds (combined defence services)

age limit for cds is 19-23 years

You should be an unmarried citizen of india

>>>CDS

bachelor's degree in Engineering from any recognised university.
Age- 19 years to 23 years.
No upper age relaxation.

You can also apply for air force by writing AFCAT.
