Age limit for OBC candidate for IAS EXAM is between 21 to 30 year, and age relaxation also give you on above 3 year also by upse.
now your age is 28 so you are applicable for UPSE IAS EXAM.

Essential qualification : a graduate with any discipline with recognized university.

The maximum age limit for candidates belonging to OBC category, in the civil service exam, is 33 years.
The minimum eligible age is 21 years for candidates belonging to any category.

You will have no problem related to the age limit. The age limit for OBC is 33 years while you are only 28 years old. It should clear any doubts that you have regarding the exam.

Now if you want to become IAS officer then better apply for the Civil Services Examination. It would not be possible to apply for it in this year. Which means you will have to wait till next year to apply for it.

Use the time in between to prepare for the Civil Services Examination. You should prepare hard to clear the Civil Services Examination.

You can take admission in good coaching center to prepare for the Indian Administrative Service. Else you can also prepare on your own. To do that you should do the following:-

1. Buy NCERT books for Class 12th.

2. Dowload the previous year question papers from internet and solve them.

3. Take mock tests online.

4. Read newpapers and political magazines.

5. You should also select the 2 optional subjects as soon as possible.

1. A citizen of India is eligible.

2. Bachelor degree in any discipline is required.

3. There is no criteria for marks.
