Hello friend,
You are not mentioned your higher educational qualification, if you are mentioned it then i will inform you the correct details. But no need to worry about this here iam providing you the all details about airforce. You can join indian airforce after 12th standard with NDA(National Defence Service) exam and after graduation you can appear CDS(Combined Defence Service) exam. These exams are conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) twice in a year. Eligibility criteria for CDS: Graduation in any stream from a recognised university. Percentage is not required to appear this exam. Being a final year candidate also eligible for CDS exam. Both girls and boys are eligible for the CDS exam. Age limits for airforce academy 19 years to 23 years. You must be physically fit and should be a citizen of india. Eligibility criteria for NDA; The candidate should be complete 12th standard with PCM subjects from a recognised state or central board. Percentage is not required to appear the NDA exam. Only unmarried male candidates are only eligible. Girls are not eligible for NDA. You must be physically fit and should be a citizen of india. Selection process for both CDS and NDA; Written test, Personal interview, Medical test. Eligible in NDA Exam to join in Indian Air Force

You can join Air force after 12th class through NDA exam. You need to complete 12th class in science stream with PCM as subjects. One can also join Air force after graduation. But you need to complete graduation either in engineering or any other science subjects. You can attend CDS exam by UPSC to get selection in Air force after graduation.

Also a candidate should have physics and maths at 10+2. Those appeared in the final year examination are also eligible to apply for this examination. please mention your age and qualification in your next reply so that we could give clarity on your doubt. Well if you are done with +2 then you need to apply for NDA exam where your age should be form 161/2 to 19 years. If you had done with degree then you are eligible to write the CDS exam conducted by UPSC where the age limit is from 21 years to 24 years. With regards |
