i want to know that what can i do after passing 12th with 46%in P.C.B from I.S.E board...is their any option in government collages for B.D.S or something else...course i don't want private education from any private collage...so please suggest me any field related to my subject

BDS stands for Bachelor of Dental Science and as the name suggests it is bachelor degree course after pursuing which you will move towards becoming a dentist.

For admission in the government medical college for BDS course you will have to clear NEET ( National Eligibility cum Entrance examination ) which is common entrance test for admission in MBBS and BDS courses in all the government medical colleges whether it is funded by Central government or by State government.

--> For appearing in the same examination, you need to have the qualifications given below :-

* You must have the nationality of India with your age lying within 17 years to 25 years till the last date of that year in which you will pursue the first year of your MBBS/BDS course. Relaxation of 5 years is applicable for reserved category candidates.

* You must have completed your higher secondary school degree course with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as your main subjects with a minimum of 50% aggregate from a recognized board. In case of reserved category marks in qualifying examination must be above 40%.

So having managed 46% in PCB your board examination you are eligible for pursuing the same course from any government medical college if you belong to reserved category candidate otherwise not.
