Re: what are the career option after B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
hi
if you belong to the mechanical stream and want to earn a higher package, then you should prepare for the government sector jobs because they provide a nice package at the intial career only. the package which you can get right now in the government sector, the same package you can get in the private sector after 3 years. But still if you want to go in the private sector, then go in a international recommended industries like honda, L&T, TATA etc. gud luck |

Respected Sir,
I am Arnab Kr. Dey have passed in B tech Mechanical Engineering in this year 2013 with 73.7% marks I get two jobs first is Rashmi Metaliks in Kharagpur in West Bengal & Second is Central Glass and Ceramic Reasearch Institute in Jadavpur Kolkata. My friends said that dont go first job because basic salary is very poor & Labours duty general duty time is 9am to 8:30pm although Rashmi Metaliks provide accomendation. My friends said that go to second job because it is basically study related job not core engineering job and tenure time of this job is upto December 2015 & also said that prepare for competitive examination of PSU. So I want to know that if I did not unfortunately crack the competitive examination.
