Hai , i am studying MCA final year . i am little bit confusion about my project.which one i choose java or .net in present software field. after i complete my mca if i have to enter a software field which one i select.,please suggest me whether i would go for project on java or .net n which one is a better option for me.

Both Java and .Net have enough scope in the present job market. Commercially Java which is a broader area is more used in the corporate world especially due to its web based applications. .NET is also used widely but is a limited area. You can select any of these programming languages according to your interest and comfort. Reputed firms like Infosys, Wipro, etc need candidates with these skills.

both language have own scope in market.
but java have more and life time scope in market.
most of programming is used that is java.
.net also have good market .
.net is quite easy language from java.
according to me you have to create your project in java language.
now depend on you which language is comfort for you.

Hello buddy,

If you want your project to run in windows only,then surely go for .net,.net is especially made for windows,since it provides a very good UI,also it is very easy for referencing external assemblies very efficiently for your project,which java programmers find it very difficult,there is the support of pointers in .net thru which you do a lot of things,and finally there are lot of languages to choose in .net

But if ur project needs to run in linux as well,then surely go for java,bcoz java is far better than c++,also java is more secure than .net

It depends on your needs to decide weather to go for .net or java,but surely there is no point in finding advantage of platform independence of java with .net.Dotnet was built for windows only.

Well both language are good scope ,its all depends on you in which you have more interest and have knowledge means basic knowledge.
In my opinion java is more good today then .net and have more scope.
But .net is quite easy then java due to exist predefined feature that are not exist in Java.
But you dont worry you can get success in both,but you have to go with in which you have more interest.
