Date of UGC NET December 2012

The NAtional Eligibility Test is conducted every year by the University Grants Commission for lectureship as well as Junior Research Fellowship programs..

A candidate can appear for the UGC NET only if :-

>> The candidate must have completed his/her post graduation in any subject with an aggregate of 55% (50% for SC/ST candidates)

>> The JRF candidates must be less than 28 years of age as on 1st December,2012


The UGC NET December exam is going to be conducted on 30th December,2012

The last date to fill the form was 16th November,2012

You will be facing 3 papers :-

Paper-1 :- It will consist of 60 questions out of which you have to attempt any 50 questions in a time span of 75 minutes..

Paper-2 :- It will consist of 50 questions to be completed in 75 minutes..

Paper-3 :- It will consist of 75 questions to be done in 120 minutes..

NET stands for National Eligibility Test which is conducted by UGC.This exam will be happen twice time in a year.

Educational Qualification :-

Masters degree with 55%

Age Criteria for NET Exam:-

For lectureship - No Age criteria
For JRF - Maximum age 28 years old.

Exam Date for NET Exam December 2012 :-

Application Submission End Date : Sunday; November 18, 2012
Last date for receiving the documents at the Coordinating University : Thursday; November 22, 2012
Examination Date : Sunday; Dec. 30, 2012

*Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks in Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination from universities are eligible for this Test.*

The National Eligibility Test (NET) is Conducted every Year.

In 2012 it will be conducted on 30th December 2012.

Qualification- The candidate must have completed Post Graduation (P.G.)
with Aggregate 55%.
