The entrance examination conducted for the chartered accountancy course is known as Common Proficiency Test.
Now, to be eligible for the common proficiency test to be held in the month of December 2012, you will need to register before 01-10-2012.
However, the last date of registration may be extended by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and such extensions are usually announced along with the notification published for the common proficiency test.
In order to avoid last minute rush and get the study materials soon, register for the test as earlier as possible and to do so, you may contact your nearest ICAI regional center. The registration for the course is open throughout the year.
