What is difference between Astronomy, Astrophysics and Cosmology?


What is the basic difference between Astronomy, Astrophysics and Cosmology? Which is a better option to study? What is the future of each of these three fields in India in the nest 10 years?

Astronomy is the scientific study of stars, planets and other natural objects in space.

Astrophysics is the study of the physical and chemical structure of the stars, planets, and other natural objects in space.

Cosmology is the study of the origin and nature of the universe.
