What is the difference between school and board exams in class10?

School exams are those exams which are conducted by school and checked by school where as board exam are those exam in which paper is made from cbse panel and checked by cbse teachers.

Hi,
This is a very good question that you have asked. Now school level examinations are concerned to your school's class only. Although the marks effect your career definitely. What I mean here is that, when an examination is just confined for your school, although the marks that you gain helps you add a feather in your overall academics, but does not have a direct effect on the board examinations or your job prospects. When you give board examinations, these marks effect hugely your job prospects. The more marks you get, the more you become advantageous over others from job point of view. Same case goes for your graduation examinations also. The more is the marks, the more are the chances to make it into a great company. Also in the board examinations if their is a backlog, you will lose certain edge when you apply for a job. There those candidates will be preferred more, who did not have any year loss between their board examinations. Also the admit card in the board examinations is very vital. If their is any mistake in this then this will stay for you entire life.

GOOD QUERY......THERE IS LOT OF DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SCHOOL AND BOARD EXAM....SCHOOL IS A PLACE WHERE YOUR FOUNDATION STARTS...SCHOOL EXAMS ARE CONDUCTED BY THE SCHOOL AUTHORITY UNDER SCHOOL PREMISES...THERE IS NO INVOLEMENT OF OUTSIDERS....

AND BOARD EXAM IS CONDUCTED BY DIFFERENT BOARD LIKE CBSE BOARD & SSC BOARD....YOU WILL GET A MEMO FROM THEBOARD AFTER PASSING IN 10th CLASS......

My daughter study in Std. 8th CBSE Ryan Int. Surat . I want to change her board in midterm because she is average student this time her result is very poor. So, I decided to change her board for further studies. Sate boards 2nd semister study will start in school. I am totally confused about this please give me your advice as early as possible.
