what is the duration of cs after plus 2 ?....please tell me the duration for the same

The duration of the course will depend on how quickly you are able to clear each level. Generally it will take a minimum of 3 years if you clear all the papers in the first attempt. Being a 12th pass out you have to register for the foundation level first. You must ensure that you enroll 9 months before the scheduled exam for the foundation level and 10 months before the executive level. After clearing the professional level you need to undergo training as a management trainee for 15 months.

HOW MUCH TIME DO THE CLEAR COURSE OF CS

The actual time required to complete the Company secretory course is totally based upon the knowledge, Skill and ability to do hard work of the candidate. There are basically three stages in CS which are as follows :-

1. Foundation
2. Executive
3. Final.

You said that you are in 12th class then you have to register yourself for foundation course, However if you complete your B.com then you can directly jump to the next level that means to the executive level.

If you clear all the exams conducted in First attempt then you can easily pass the exam in 3 years otherwise if you keep on delaying to clear the paper then that will take time to complete the course.

You also have to take a training with a professional CS as a trainee and that too requires time so its better you study hard and try to clear the CS exam in the first attempt itself.

CS course is conducted in three stages:
Foundation
Executive
Professional

After passing class 12th you can enrol for the Foundation course
Last date to register is 28th March 2013 for the foundation course, if you want to give the Foundation Term end exams in decmber 2013

So, if you are interested in doing the CS course register before 28th march 2013
otherwise you can register before 30th september 2013 for the June 2013 Founadtion term end exams

Fees:
Foundation course: Rs 3600
Exam fees :Rs 875

Four Papers are there in the Founadtion of the CS course:
1. Business Environment and Entrepreneurship
2. Business Management, ethics and Communication
3. Business Economics
4.Fundamentals of Accounting and Auditing

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India Conducted the CS exams.

The minimum eligibility required for registering for the the foundation course of Company Secretary is 10+2 or an equivalent examination.

For Complete CS course it will take 3-5 years depending up on the Way you can enter in this Course.

CS Course Having 3 Stages
Foundation
Executive
Professional (Final)

For Foundation Level 10+2 Eligibility.

After the Foundation You Can enter in the Intermediate (Executive) level.

But for Graduates or post-graduates in commerce, or any other discipline except fine arts, are allowed to skip the foundation course and enrolled directly for the intermediate examination.

This exemption is also extended to those who have passed out of the Institute of Cost and Works Accountancy or the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India

After the Completion of Executive level you can undergo for 18 months Training.

After the training you can apply for the CS Final level
