Re: What is the duration of LLB after passing M.Com?
The duration of LLB is 3 years. It remains the same for graduates and post graduates candidates. There is no difference in duration for the post graduation degree holders. You can apply for LLB as long as you are meeting the percentage and age criteria to apply.
LLB is a law degree. If you are interested in becoming lawyer then you should pursue it. But not under any circumstances you should appear it through distance education. The Bar Council of India has made the rules as such that LLB degree holders through distance/correspondence are not eligible to appear in the court as lawyers. The Bar Council of India does not recognize such degrees and therefore you should avoid applying for distance education or correspondence course. You should also ensure to apply for LLB course not integrated LLB. The integrated course is for the candidates who have completed 12th and it also includes a bachelor course. The candidates who have completed graduation or post graduation should apply for 3 years LLB course. Eligibility 1. You should have minimum of graduation degree in any discipline. 2. At least 45 percent marks in graduation. 3. There is 5 percent marks relaxation for SC/ST candidates. 4. The age limit is 30 years for the LLB 5. The age limit for SC/ST candidates is 35 years. |
