I have completed my B.Sc without Honours i.e. in General category. I have done my B.Sc with Zoology, Botany and Chemistry. Am I eligible for M.Sc in Zoology from IGNOU as I have not done B.Sc in Hons. category?

In order to do course from IGNOU in M.SC Zoology the candidate must have completed B.SC General/Honors with Life Science/Bio Sciences with Botany and Zoology as two of the three main subjects. The minimum marks should be 50% in aggregate or an equivalent grade for General candidates and 45% marks for reserved categories.

The duration of the course is for 2 years and the fee is Rs 5000/- per semester plus other charges (lab,registration, library, caution money as decided by the university from time to time)

Eligibility criteria for M.Sc Zoology from IGNOU are:-

Candidates must have completed B.Sc with at least 55% in any discipline from a recognized university/institution.

Course Fee - INR 21,000 to 1.5 Lakhs
