IBPS - Institute of Banking Personal Selection conducts bank P.O. exam for 19 Public Sector banks as per their requirements.
Eligibility of IBPS P.O.Exam:- -The candidate must be an Indian National -should have completed Graduation Degree in any stream of education from a recognised University -Should be within the age of 20 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate -Should be a computer literate one. Nationality : Indian Age limit : Min of 20 years & Max of 30 years The Max age limit specified is applicable to General Candidates Relaxation for Upper age limit : OBC Candidates : 3 years SC/ST Candidates : 5 years Persons with Disabilities : 10 years Educational Qualification : A Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or any equivalent qualification with min of 55% aggregate (50% for SC/ST) from a recognized University Selection Process : Written Test Interview Examination Pattern : Reasoning : 50 questions of 50 marks English Language : 50 questions of 25 marks Quantitative Aptitude : 50 questions of 50 marks General Awareness : 50 questions of 50 marks Computer Knowledge : 50 questions of 50 marks Descriptive paper on English Composition : 25 marks Total 250 Marks Duration : 3hrs 30 min The Tests 1 to 5 are objective type multiple choice questions All Tests other than the test of English Language & descriptive paper on English Composition are printed in both English & Hindi There is a penalty for wrong answers in multiple choice questions 1/4 marks of questions are deducted is case of a wrong answer This Examination Eligibility for 19 following Bank Sectors : List of IBPS Bank Po Examination Books : |

The eligibility criteria for Schedule Caste candidates for the IBPS Probationary Officer Exam remains almost the same as other category candidates. The only relaxation is given in the upper age limit. Rest of the criteria is same as general and OBC candidates.
IBPS Bank PO exam is conducted on the yearly basis. It generally takes place in the month of June every year. The exam forms and notification is released minimum of 1 month in advance by the Institute of Banking Personnel Services. You can find out about the notification through their official website - www.ibps.in. There are other websites that will notify you about the dates through email if you subscribe for their mail alert. You can also consider that option. You should also know that the notification is also published in all leading newspapers in the country. Eligibility 1. You should be Indian national to apply. 2. A graduation degree in any stream. 3. The age limit is 20 to 30 years. 4. The age limit is relaxed by 3 years for OBC. 5. SC/ST gets 5 years relaxation. As I mentioned earlier that the only relaxation is given for the age limit. There are 19 Public sector banks that participates in the IBPS Bank PO Exam. Bank PO exams for 19 public sector banks are conducted by IBPS. IBPS conducts bank PO exams two times every year. As asked by you, the Eligibility Criteria for bank PO exam are - Nationality- Indian Qualification- Candidate should have done graduation from a recognised university. Age - Minimum age is 20 years. Maximum age is 30 years. ( 3 years relaxation for OBC and 5 years relaxation for SC/ST Exam Pattern- The exam has objective type questions except in English. 1. Quantitative aptiude 2. Reasoning 3. General Awareness 4. Computer Knowledge 5. English English has subjective questions also on these topics- Precis Letter essay Passage. |
