Physical requirement for NDA is---
(a) The candidate must be in good physical and mental health and free from any disease/disability which is likely in interfere with the efficient performance of military duties.

(b) There should be no evidence of weak constitution, bodily defects or under weight. The candidate should not be overweight or obese.

(c) The minimum acceptable height is 157.5 cms. (162.5 cms for Air Force) F

after clearing the written exam of the NDA the second stepi is related to your health and fitness. in the physical efficiency test the following things are consider such as
1. your Height
2. your weight
3. your teeth
4. your all body parts must be free from any kind of disease
5. your blood pressure must be normal
6. your eyesight must be according to the prescribed format by the defense department.
7. for army/air force the height and weight both are same but in the case of navy your height and weight is different.
8. your joints of body must be in good position.

Nda exam is conducted by UPSC twice in a year.

Eligibility for NDA is
candidate should be completed 12th or appearing the final year.
candidate must be male and unmarried, female candidate are not eligible for this exam
age of the candidate is 16.5 to 19 year.

minimum acceptable height is 157.5 cms
For Air Force it is 162.5

NDA-National Defence Academy........

UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) conducting this exam every year twice i.e NDA-I and NDA-II.


Educational qualification:-

The candidate must have to complete 12th standard from a recognised board or university.

Percentage is not required for this exam.

12th standard exams appearing candidates are also eligible.

For indian navy and airforce you must have to complete 12th standard with PCM subjects, but no need for Indian army.


Age criteria:-

The age limits are 16.5years to 19 years.

There is no upper age relaxation in the NDA exam.


Gender:-

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible.

Girls are not eligible for NDA exam.

Nationality:-

The candidate should be a citizen of india

OR

A subject of bhutan,

OR

A subject of nepal,

OR

A subject of tibetian who came over india permanently.


The candidate must be physically fit.

Selection process:-

Written test,

SSB interview,

Medical test.
