what is the syllabus for gate 2015?
Is there any additional part also like geography and physics?

Graduate Aptitude test in Engineering is held every year by the Indian Institute of Technology.

The importance of this exam is increasing day by day as now it not only serves for getting admission in engineering colleges but also for getting jobs in Public Sector Undertakings.

Many Public Sector Undertakings like NTPC, BHEL, SAIL, GAIL etc has started recruiting candidates on the basis of rank secured in GATE exam.

The eligibility criteria for GATE exam is bachelor's degree in engineering or technology from a recognized university. Final year engineering candidates can also apply for the exam.

GATE exam pattern:

>>65 questions of 100 marks.

>>Duration: 3 hours.

>>15 marks questions from Aptitude, rest 85 marks from core subjects of engineering.

No, there is no addition of Geography in GATE exam but for Physics separate paper of GATE exam is conducted.
