What is a good score for GATE to get in top colleges?


what is the good score in gate to get seat in one of top colleges .I would be grateful if someone would give reply for this///

IIt's - above 60/100;
NIt's- above 50/100;

civil/mechanical

IIt's - above 50/100;
NIt's- above 40/100;

Hi
gate is the very important exam for entering
iit to do m.tech..

Score status
800-1000 outstanding
675-800 excellent
550-675 very good
425-550 good
300-425 above average
100-300 average
below 100 bad


this is the structure
if you get out standing or excellent then you get the chance for iit....

its depend upon branch. but for getting good college you should score 98% or 50 marks minimum.

I M DOING 2YR BTECH(INDUSTRIAL BIOTECH).I WISH TO DO MTECH.SO PLS GIVE INFORMATION ADOUT GATE AND COURSES IN MTECH BIOTE CH.AISO LIST THE TOP COL AND THEIR FEES STRUCTURE PLZZZZ....

is the syllabus or all kind of preperation for gate, psu n i.e.s. r same???
Do v need to prepare on d same pattern for all these three exams???

Well an above average score would be a 84% tile, i personally got a 75 percent tile and my friends friends friend got a 99.5 so yeah hope this helps
