I m persuing B.Tech IT last year. I want to know what are the government jobs for us type of students. Can anyone send me the list of such jobs relevant to my qualification....thanks in advance.

there are many job opportunities in the govt sector if you want to know about the core jobs then there will be a very minimum

but if you want govt jobs in general category there are plenty of jobs for you

they vary again

High end jobs

Medium Jobs

Low level Jobs

High End Jobs are

->IAS/IPS/IFS all the other civil

Services

->IES/IFS

->Police Recruitment

->SSC

Mid Range Jobs

These are jobs like

->Railway Jobs

->Milatary Navy Army and so on

->JTO jobs in telecom Industry

Low Range Jobs

->Constable jobs

->System Engineers

->Electrical Dept

and so on are called as the low range jobs

this evaluation of Jobs is not done by the salaries they get but done by the reputation name and fame they get in the society

1. BSNL(bharat sanchar nigam limited)
   click here http://www.mp.bsnl.co.in/ to get more information and notification mostly come in the month of feb and exam will be held in april/may.
   
2. ISRO(Indian space research organisation)
   
   There is no form for applying ISRO you need to go to isro website and fill your form but before that you need to make a D.D of 100/- and then you need to apply to website..then you need to note down your application form no and take print of the
   
   generated form and sent to the ISRO address.
3. DRDO(Defense research and development organisation)
4. ECIL(Electronic cooperation of india limited)
5. AAI(Airport authority of India)
6. SAIL(Steel authority of india)
7. RRB(Railway recruitment board)
8. UPSC(Union Public Service Commission )
   click here www.upsc.gov.in to get more information and exams will be conducted on 12th June. and last date of applying for the same is 21at March...
9. CDS(Combined defense service)

There are many jobs for IT, because IT is most wanted branch now a days. In all the fields communication is required. So there is not any shortage of job in the field of communication.

after completion of your graduatin degree you have lots of chance to crack in govt job.
but to get govt jobs you have to give some competitive exam likes

3.EKT
4.CDS
5.SSC
6.PSC
7.JTO
8.RAIL
9.BANK
10.BHEL
11.SAIL
