what i have to do for becoming a police.... which exam i have to pass........?????????

Recruitment for police department is made by the concerned state Public Service Commission (PSC). So,one who wishes to join police department has to clear the exam conducted by that State PSC.

The eligibility to become a Police Inspector are as under:-

-The candidate should be an Indian.

-The minimum qualification required to apply for the post is Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.

-The selection process consists of written exam and physical test.

-The written exam is generally for following subjects :

*General Knowledge

*General Awareness

*Reasoning Ability

*Maths.

To become a police officer you must write SSC exam

SSC stands for Staff Selection Commission.

Eligibiliy for SSC :
1. You must be a citizen of India, Nepal or Bhutan and as per govt. rules.
2. Your age must be in 18-27 years.
3. You must have completed graduation from a recognized university.
