Hai,
IAS(Indian Administrative Service) exam is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) once in a year. Eligibility criteria: You should be complete graduation from a recognised university. Percentage is not required for this exam. Being a final year candidate also eligible for UPSC exam. You should be a citizen of india. Age criteria: For general candidates 21 years to 30 years, For OBC candidates 21 years to 33 years, For SC/ST candidates 21 years to 35 years. No.of attempts: 4 times for General candidates, 7 times for OBC candidates, No limit for sc/st candidates. Selection process: Civil services preliminary exam, Civil services mains exam, Personal interview. Syllabus: Official website http://www.upsc.gov.in All the best. |

Preliminary Syllabus :- Preliminary Examination can be divided into two papers and each paper consist of 200 Marks . The duration of examination is 2 hrs . Paper - I :-
Paper - II :-
Main examination can be divided into Nine Papers . Main exam test pattern: PAPER 1&2 is for 300 marks each PAPER 3 is for 200 marks PAPER 4&5 is for 600 marks PAPER 6&7 is for 300 marks each PAPER 8&9 is for 300 marks each grand total will be 2000 marks Main Optional Subjects :- Agriculture Animal Husbandry & Vetinary Science Anthropology Botany Chemistry Civil Engineering Commerce & Accountancy Economics Geography Geology Indian History Management Mathematics Mechanical Engineering Medical Science Philosophy Physics Political Science & International Relations Psychology Sociology Statistics Zoology These combination optional subjects is not allowed :- Political Science & International Relations and Public Administration Commerce and Management Anthropology and Sociology Maths and Statistics Agriculture and Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science Management and Public Administration Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science and Medical Science Any two branches of engineering Interview test -300 marks Official Website :- www.upsc.gov.in Thank you! |

IAS stands for Indian Adminstration Service. This exam conducted by the union public service commission once in a year.
PRELIMINARY SYLLABUS: PAPER I: General Science General Issues no Environmental Ecology, Bio-diversity and Climate change Economic and social Development sustainable Deployment, Poverty, Inclusion, Demographics, Social Sector Initiatives Indian Polity and Governance constitution, political system, Panchayati Raj, public policy, Rights Issues Indian and world Geography-Physical, social, Economic Geography of India and the world History of India and Indian National Movement Current Events of National and International Importance PAPER II: Comprehension Interpersonal Skills including communication Skills Logical Reasoning and Analytical Ability Decision making and problem solving General Mental Ability Basic Numerancy English Language comprehension there are two optional subjects.
