Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) conduct a Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) every year for the admission to its B-Tech .

If you have completed 12th examinations from a recognized board with physics ,chemistry and mathematics then you are applicable for IIT-JEE exam.But your 12th marks must be above 60% .

The age limit for this exam is 17 to 25 year old.

IIT JEE Exam Pattern :

New Pattern :

Two Exams - JEE Mains followed by JEE Advance

Time gap between these two exams will be two three weeks

JEE Main which is equivalent to AIEEE & will be conducted by CBSE , JAB & JIC will also support this

Students who come in top 20% in their board can only given the exams

JEE Exam Pattern :

Part I : Maths (objective type questions)
Part II : Aptitude Test (objective type questions)
Part III : Drawing Test

Duration : 3 Hrs

>> IIT JEE Question Paper pattern :~

• There will be two question papers and the duration of each section will be three hours.

• Both the sections consist of three sections Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

• The pattern of the exam will be objective type.

• The exam is designed to test the comprehension, reasoning and analytical reasoning skills of the candidate.

• The answers for each of the questions are to be recorded on a separate specially designed machine-gradable sheet of paper (ORS - Optical Response Sheet)

• In some of the sections negative marking will be done for wrong answers.

• A candidate can opt for question papers either in English or in Hindi.
