i have done B.A(Geography)
,i want to do job in the field of geography.
please tell me what are the job present in the field of geography where i can apply for the job,also tell me if any other courses are there which help me for the job in geography?

I chosen a different course course with lot of openings. You can find job associated with petrolium, coal drilling, lime stone digging and many more.
Geography is a very attractive major for today's students. The field provides marketable skills and the broad perspectives on environment and society that enable graduates to move beyond entry-level positions. For similar reasons, geography provides a sound foundation for students who plan to enter graduate work in a variety of fields, from geography to business, land use planning, law, and even medicine.

Geography provides training in geospatial technologies (geographic information systems, computer mapping, remote sensing, GPS, etc.). This high-growth industry generates tens of billions of dollars in annual revenues for companies around the world. Geospatial technologies are one of the three largest employment growth fields identified by the Department of Labor, and they are providing 75,000 new job hires per year.
The potential for practicing geography in private enterprise and in government has grown considerably in recent years, although often such positions are not designated with the title of geographer. Many geographers, however, work in the private and public sectors. Below is a list of positions held by some of them. It is impossible, however, to display and maintain salaries for these positions as they vary by experience and region.

i hv done b.a, in gegraphy...is there any course of geography (1year, 2year).
