i am a 3rd year ece student.i want to know what are the jobs available for ece students?should we have to pursue any other additional courses other than B.E.,for jobs?if yes please mention those courses.And I am good in basic programming languages-C,C++.so can a ece student go to software job?pls help me.

You are 3rd year ECE student and you have lot of chances to get job.

If you have above 60% accademic record with no back logs.

You have to leare c, c++ and oracle languges are important to get software job.

For fresher there is no course to learn.

If you strong in communication skills it is good to get job. otherwise go for english courses to learn english skills

If you strong in programming skills you willl go in software field.

Hi,

For ECE candidates there are many job offers in both govt and software sectors.

In software sector you can step into the following:

infosys,

wipro

TCS

IBM...etc

As you are good in C,C++ languages it is well an good.

But it is better to go for JAVA,Oracle,DBMS......etc

Also the telecom sector is evergreen where large payment is given.

If you want to make career in ECE itself then you should do private courses other than B.Tech as there is so much competition.
The courses are VLSI ,CCNA,Embedded System, SCADA,PLC ....

BUT if you want to go in IT Sector as you are good in programming languages then
do some Private courses like cobol, fortran and advanced java to do excellent interviews
