I am studying b.tech 3rd year with E.C.E stream.I am VERY ENTHUSIASTIC in getting job in ISRO.Please tell me how can I get
selected to ISRO.Will there be any entrance exam by which ISRO
slct ECE students??If yes how can I PREPAREforthat?

To get jobs in ISRO, you need to pass B.Tech course. It is also possible to apply for jobs even in final year of B.Tech course. 60% marks in is necessary to apply for jobs in ISRO. Notifications about vacant positions will be available from ISRO official site and online mode of applications is accepted. Selection for jobs in ISRO will require you to attend written examination. Be thorough with the basic fundamentals. If you qualify written exam, personal interview should also be attended.

Eligibility Criteria Requried for ISRO Engineer and Scientist :-
Academic Qualification :- You have to passed ( BE or B.Tech ) Course any Spcialization from recognized Institution/ University . You should score rminimum 65% MarkS in your Bachelor degree .
Age Limitation :- Your age should be not more than 35 years and rekaxation will applicale for sc/st candidates for 5 years and obc candidates 3 years .

B.Tech graduates are eligible to apply for job in ISRO. Today working for Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has become dream of thousands of your students.


In last few years ISRO has reached new heights. It managed to send a rocket on moon called Chandrayan I. This rocket helped in finding water on the moon. ISRO has sent over 100 satellites into the space.


ISRO is one of the rare space organizations in the world to have capability of sending satellites on its own. Several countries relies on ISRO to send their satellites into the orbit of the Earth. ISRO created a record of sending 10 satellites into the space in a single day. The recond still stands even today.


ISRO is dreaming big for the future. Chandrayan 2 and Mars Mission are on its plate for now. These projects will require talented Engineers/scientists therefore it is a welcome move by you.


ISRO conducts a entrance exam to hire candidates. The exam is conducted generally in Februray and March. You will have to appear for this exam to get job in ISRO.



Eligibility

1. Only Indian nationals can apply for job in ISRO.

2. Minimum qualification requirement is B.Tech degree from a recognized university.

3. At least 60 percent marks in B.Tech course.

4. There is some relaxation in percentage for reserve category students.

5. Age limit to apply is 21 to 30 years.

6. There is 3 years relaxation for OBC.

7. SC/ST are given 5 years relaxation.

8. Final year students of B.Tech can also apply if they can submit degree at the time of interview.
