Re: What is the maximum age limit to appear in government exam for general category?
Maximum age limit for central government and state government jobs vary. It also varies with job profile. For jobs based on HSC/12th, the upper age limit is 28 years (central government). Thirty years is the upper age limit for graduate level jobs. OBC candidates can have relaxation to a maximum of 3 years and SC/ST candidates can have the same up to 5 years. Upper age limit for state government jobs is 36 years.
