NET exam is conducted for selecting candidates to lectureship as well as fellowship. There is no upper age limit for lectureship. But for fellowship, the upper age limit is 28 years. NET exam is conducted by UGC, two times a year. Details regarding the exam can be collected from UPSC portal.

UGC conduct NET exam in twice time in a year .NET stands for National Eligibility Test .

So those members have completed Masters degree or final year of masters degree with above 55% marks are applicable for NET Exam .Marks relaxation is provide for SC/ST category .

Age criteria for NET Exam:-

Lectureship Post :- No Age criteria .

JRF Post :- Maximum age should be 28 years old.

5 Years age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC candidate .

Recently December 2012 exam is over so if you are fulfill the above criteria then you can apply for June NET Exam 2013.
