What is the maximum marks required for bank job?


Hi. What is the max mark to score in entrance exam for bank job. And will i get the job in the same district where i live.

If you want to apply for the PO and Clerks posts in the Government banks than you have to appear in the IBPS PO and Clerks Exams


Eligibilty for the IBPS CLERKS exams:
Min educational qualifications is Graduation Pass
Age should be between 20 and 28 years


Eligibilty for the IBPS PO exams:

Graduation Pass
Age should be between 20 and 30 years


In the written test you need to score atleast minimum 65% marks to qualify for the Interview stage

Also you have to get minimum cut off marks in all the sections of the written tests



Questions will be asked from the below sections in the IBPS Clerks Exams:
Numerical Ability
Reasoning
General Awareness with special reference to Banking Industry
Computer Knowledge
English Language


Questions will be asked from the below sections in the IBPS PO Exams:
Quantitative Aptitude
Reasoning
General Awareness with special reference to Banking Industry
Computer Knowledge
English Language
Descriptive Paper on English Composition

Graduation is the basic qualification for bank clerk/P.O. According to the latest IBPS notification, graduates should hold a minimum of 60% marks. There are 4-5 sections for banking entrance exam. For each of the section there will be a specific cut off as decided by the bank. Usually the cut off percentage is 40 for each section.

Dear Aspirant,



$$ There are various Post on the Bank Job for which different exam is going to be conducted most famous post are the Bank Clerk, Bank PO......

$$ IBPS stands for the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection, Exam is conducted under the 19 public sector banks of India.....

$$ A candidate who have completed their Graduation Degree in any field of study can apply for the both the post of Clerk as well as PO post.....

$$ Final Year of Graduation Degree candidate can also apply for the same exam.....

$$ If you are aspiring to go for SBI Clerk then you should have completed your 10+2 with Minimum 60% and for the SBI PO Exam at least Graduation degree.....


Age Criteria:-
  • For Clerk Post it should be 18 to 28 for SBI Clerk.
  • For PO Exam it should be between 20 to 30 years.
  • Relaxation for OBC 3 years.
  • For SC/ST 5 years.
  • For PH/PWD category 10 years on upper age.


Exam Content:-
  1. Computer Knowledge
  2. General Awareness
  3. English Language
  4. Quantitative Aptitude
  5. Reasoning

sir m scoring 63% marks in Graduation. so sir Am I eligible for PO exam after scoring 63% marks in
graduation in b.com
