i want to get bank job.

You have done a right choice. The minimum qualification needed for most of the bank jobs is graduation. Some of the posts offered by the banks are clerk or clerk-cum-cashier, Cashier-cum-Clerk-Typist, Probationary Officers etc. For the post of Cashier-cum-Clerk-Typist, you must have a minimum typing speed of 30 w.p.m. in English. Banks will conduct the typing test on computers.

it is difficult to clear exam without preparation.
but after preparation you can clear the exam.

Those candidate have completed their graduation degree from any recognized university are eligible for BANK PO exam.

They are not require any kind of percentage marks in graduation for this time.

But your age must be in between 20 to 30 years.Age relaxation is provide only for SC/ST/OBC candidate .For Sc/ST candidate have age relaxation is 5 years and for OBC candidate it is 3 years.

BANK PO exam consist of two steps 1) Written test 2)Personal Interview.

For written test you must be prepare for mathematics and general knowledge.Also you must have basic knowledge computer field.

Every bank set their own criteria .So it is not perfect criteria all BANK PO exam.

A new restriction has been imposed on the number of attempts for the candidates. For general number of attempts is 4, for OBC it is 7 and for SC/ST

YES, YOU can apply for the BANK PO exams.

If you have received the degree certificate and marksheet from the university which shows that you ahve cleared all the subjects than YES you can apply

For all Public Sector Banks except SBI, recruitment is conducted through IBPS examination.

You cannot appear for IBPS PO examination with 60% marks unless you belong to SC/ST/PWD category.

Eligibility for PO:

1. Age between 20 years to 30 years on 1st July of the year of examination
2. Minimum 60% marks in graduation (55% for SC/ST/PWD)
3. Computer literate

But, you are eligible for IBPS Clerk examination for which there is no percentage criteria and only passed in graduation is sufficient.

OBC - 3 years relaxation

PWD - 10 years relaxation

The banking sector has the most number of opportunities as of date and in the coming years.

The bank Probationary Officers Examination can be classified into two like,

1.IBPS PO Examination.
Eligibility->You must have a Graduation Degree in any disicipline fron a recognized university.There is no boundation of percentage.Just a simple pass degree is enough to apply for the IBPS PO.
Age Limit-> Minimum age-> 20 years
Maximum age-> 30 years.(Relaxation of 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates).


2.SBI (State Bank of India) PO Examination.
Eligibility-> Graduation degree irrespective of the percentage and discipline is necessary from a recognized university.

Age Limit-> Minimum age of the candidate must not be less than 21 years.
Maximum age of the candidate must not be more than 30 years.

Relaxation of 3 years for the OBC and 5 years for the SC/ST candidates is applicable.


You can apply for the PO examination if you have passed your graduation degree,you need not to worry about the percentage as it is not required as of now.

The IBPS PO dates are still not yet over,the dates are as,

Online Registrations-> 22/08/2013 to 17/08/2013.

Written Examination-> In the month of October on any of the given dates 19/20/26/27.

You did not mention the highest level of academic qualification that you have. If you have mentioned that, I would have better suggested you.

In order to apply for Bank Jobs, one should have completed Graduation.

The entry level positions in various banks are
-Clerical positions
-Probationary Officers

-To apply for Clerical positions,
You should have completed Graduation with any of the stream.
-There is no percentage of marks criteria required for the candidates in Graduation.
-Required age criteria will be 20-28 years.

-To apply for PO positions,
You should have completed your Graduation with a minimum of 60% of marks from a recognized university.
-Required age criteria will be 20-30 years.
Relaxation in upper age limit upto 3 years for the candidates of OBC category and upto 5 years for the candidates of SC or ST category.

In the case of private sector, each and every bank will conduct its own selection procedure.

But in the case of public sector, IBPS will conduct common written exam for the recruitment of both clerical and PO positions for all the public sector banks.
