Green Revolution refers to a series of research, development, and technology transfer initiatives, that increases the agriculture production around the world.
This can be simply defined as producing more agricultural items like rice, wheat etc. This got the name as green revolution because it is related to crops which are green in color. POSITIVE ASPECTS: * Food production will rise. * Farmers, who are the back bone of India will earn more. NEGATIVE ASPECTS: I don't think there are any negative aspects in Green Revolution. |
