Green Revolution refers to a series of research, development, and technology transfer initiatives, that increases the agriculture production around the world.
This can be simply defined as producing more agricultural items like rice, wheat etc. This got the name as green revolution because it is related to crops which are green in color.

POSITIVE ASPECTS:

* Food production will rise.
* Farmers, who are the back bone of India will earn more.

NEGATIVE ASPECTS:

I don't think there are any negative aspects in Green Revolution.

Meaning of Green Revolution,

The term 'green revolution' means the introduction of pesticides and high-yield grains and better management during the 1960s and 1970s which greatly increased agricultural productivity.

These are the positive and negative aspects of Green Revolution,

Positive aspects---
Better land use by employing two and three crop pattern
Negative aspects---
Chemicals in water-These chemicals which we have been using in our farms go down and contiminate ground water which effect our and our children health.
